Tutorials on the way!

As it turns out, many people that I have talked with don't fully understand how light graffiti is made. Therefore RABeatz and I have decided to take the time to produce a step by step tutorial. As we know that most people don't have DSLR's, we are going to test it with point and shoots utilizing the manual mode, all that is needed is the ability to control shutter speed. Stay tuned, as this tutorial will be out soon!

Really Interesting Graffiti! (not by us)

Here is a link to some interesting light graffiti work that I found via Stumbleupon. These are supberb examples of what can be done with a lot of practice and imagination:

Light Graffiti Set #1

Being our first work, and having a limited amount of supplies, this set is small. We’ll be getting some new lights and trying some new ideas out soon!

Pretty decent shots on the way!

Well, with some experimentation, tonight was pretty successful (albeit very cold). We will try to get the shots posted by tomorrow.

Expect to see some new work!

We are going to experiment tonight around town to see if we produce anything worthwhile! Our weapon of choice will be a Nikon D5000 primarily using a 30 second exposure time with a 55-200mm Nikkor lens.

Under Construction

This blog is currently under construction - but check back for more content. Expect to see some detailed tutorials on how to do your own light graffiti, as well as samples of the work we do around town!
